Mackenzie Estates
Mackenzie Estates was originally the homestead of John Charles Mackenzie in the late 1880s. The Mackenzies were one of Surrey’s original pioneers who contributed much to the development of Surrey. In 1907 they sold a section of their land to George E. Lawrence who was a councilor of Halls Prairie in the early 1900s. In 1908 the Lawrences constructed the home that now sits on Mackenzie Estates where he lived with his wife, three daughters and two sons. Today the George E. Lawrence house is on Surrey’s heritage register and will rebuilt to specifications at Mackenzie Estates. Mann Group will compliment the rich history of Mackenzie lands with a signature selection of distinct, unique and affordable townhomes while preserving the Lawrence Heritage Cottage.
